Polyester rope and cord, also commonly called Dacron, will provide similar strength to Nylon rope with less stretch and better abrasion resistance. It is perfect for demanding applications that call for excellent UV resistance, abrasion resistance, high strength or low stretch.

Polyester twisted rope has high abrasion resistance, and very high breaking load.Made from 100% high tenacity polyester and characterized by their resistance to climate conditions as well as excellent UV resistance. It is easy to spilce and can be used for mooring lines, anchor lines, fender lined and lanyards. In comparison with polyamide cords, polyester cords are softer and more flexible in wet condition. Polyester Twisted Rope (single twist for diameters 3-4-5 mm). UV rays-resistant. Excellent breaking strength, very low elongation capacity. This product has a breaking tensile strength higher than 40% compared with the M.T. rope. Easy to splice. Polyester Twisted Rope has a higher break strength than nylon. Braided polyester rope is more abrasion resistant and stretches less than comparable nylon lines.It holds up better than nylon when exposed to sunlight, and is almost as strong.
